Our Story — The Soul of Heritage Studio

Heritage Studio was born from a simple belief: that the world's most beautiful art is made by hand, and that some traditions are too precious to be lost to time.

Our journey began in Chengdu, Sichuan — the birthplace of Shu Embroidery. There we met master embroiderers who had spent decades perfecting their craft. They showed us silk threads split finer than a human hair, stitches placed one by one over weeks, creating images that breathe and move in the light.

This art form — one of China's Four Famous Embroideries, UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage — was largely unknown outside of China. Heritage Studio was founded to change that.
